Easter ATC for Scraphappys swap for April.

Bit slack on the blogging of late! Wanna wish a big Happy Birthday to Vicki (23rd), Karen (24th) and Anthony (26th). Hope ya's had a great day and got very spoilt!! We were going to visit Batlow on this long weekend but forgot Rob had physio yesterday, so those plans went out the window...could have left after physio but then there was netball and it would have been too rushed just like a normal weekend! We'll get there.....One bit of exciting news......Cass and Paul are finally tying the knot in November and Cass asked me to be her Matron of Honour.....very honoured thankyou Cass. We went off dress shopping Tuesday, picked out a gorgeous dress. Have plenty of time to keep looking...I am wrapped we share a favourite colour!! Been a long time since I've got to dress up, lol, looking forward to it!!

Well I'm off to scrap!! I've decided I am having a scrapbox day.....using all I can from my scraps as its a massive box full!! (Hopefully mojo will co-operate!!) Enjoy your day off (if you have one...) Pauly xx

Krystal...just because......

Lexies class from Friday night......Thanx Lex.....love it!

Yay, Thursday, I finally did a layout 'just because'!! Mojo called in for a little visit! Friday I took Robs Harley out for a spin just to give it a bit of a run. Jacqui and I rode over to Benalla, had some lunch and then I came back to take mine out and she wouldn't start...mmm flat battery! Have to get it on charge and take her out too, they been sitting too long!! Then Friday night, off to Seymour for Lexies class, like it heaps thanks Lexie!! Saturday morn up early and off to Greta for Netball. What a long day...Krystal was on roster to score A grades game, so we were there till stumps! Got home at bout 6.30 and I am aching from head to toe (dont think I'd better leave it that long and then hop on a 'big boys' bike I've decided) I was asleep by 7.30 last night and up at 7 this morning (Sunday!!!!!) I am still aching all over and so excited about that as we are going to get wood at 10!! GRRR. Anyway, enough whining.....I outa here....Pauly xx

April Uproar Sketch challenge

Hello all! not much on the scrapping side of things....please come home mojo!!! One for Ems Sketch challenge at Uproar and an ATC for a family and friends swap for April with the theme 'Frogs'. Just had a little photoshoot with Krystal after school, she is doing a hairdressing course every Wednesday at school and come home with her hair curled. I think it looks gorgeous! Just went a little nuts with the camera!! A few cute ones of the little kitten too, aww how cute!! I'm afraid little puss lost its brother today, found it in the driveway behind where I back my ute out....I don't know if I did it or someone hit it in the driveway while I was out? Poor little puss....

These are my layouts I did for my class down at Seymour for Scraphappy last night....I thought I would try something different with the 2nd Layout and tried paper weaving....when I finished it, I said to Rob...OMG, I hate it!! Just one of those layouts you do and really don't like it, well that freaked me out...if its for you, yeah too bad, but I was doing this for a class! I whipped up an alternative layout for anyone to do that didn't like it either ( I told them I would take no offence at all cos I didn't like it). Well, they all did the paper weaving, no one did the alternative!! How funny, I hated it, they all liked it! Its kinda growing on me now, I,m just gonna add some flourishes and see if I can improve it. Maybe its just the green that turned me off? I dunno. Anyway I best be outa here, off to Frankston to pick up my girl....so did miss her this week!

This is just a little sneak peek at a lesson I am teaching tomorrow night at Scraphappys. This will be my second go at teaching over there.......not quite as nervous as the first time. I just worry they will think its crappy......but people are usually too polite to say so anyway!! LOL.

This one is for Scraphappys April Sketch Challenge.

This one is for Tans (Scrap N Craft with T) collage challenge at Born2Create for April. Another collage for my gallery in the loungeroom. One more to go in that section and then a few more in the Dining room gallery, just can't rush these things!!


4 Day weekend and this is all I produced!!! Friday we did very little, then went out to Cass and Pauls for coffee. Saturday we did the Bush Market in the morning and then statements and end of month in the arvo. Sunday we spent most the day at Bonnie Doon watching the Netball, then vegged when we got home. Monday we took Krystal down to Frankston, where Lee (boyfriend) and his Mum met us to take my girl for the week. They headed on back to Venus Bay (their holiday house) for the night and then back to Paynesville (where they live) for the rest of the week. Get my girrl back on Sunday, I do miss her :( We left there and drove into Melbourne to see Robs brother Brett in hospital..he has been transferred back to Ballarat now, which is a good thing for his family...save all the travelling to see him. So I guess he should be starting on his rehab soon. Then back to work for me on Tuesday. I am teaching a class this Friday night at Kaths, so I best get cracking and finish off my layouts!! Scrap N Art 'I spy' theme for April. So I spied things beginning with B!!

Born 2 Create 'Inky Easter' theme for April. I blew ink on the background, then inked the edges, then stamped the Happy Easter and border across the bottom. Stamped the little chick and cut it out. Used flock to colour him and make him a bit fluffy, was the first time I've used flock and it was a bit 'gappy' so I then blew some yellow ink on him to fill the gaps and then stuck him on with dots to raise him a bit.

A challenge at last weekends cyber crop at MAD. Lisas challenge was to scrap about something you love about scrapbooking using pink, brown and white, a heart and some chipboard. I chose to scrap about meeting other 'scrappers' in real life that I have 'met' through forums, blogs etc.. There a still heaps I would love to meet...and hope to one day. Have met some wonderful people through my scrapbooking.

This one was for Sarahs challenge at the cybercrop also. Sarah wanted to see a photo with yourself in it, some distressing, dooodling and negative space.

Just a quick update before I hit the sack!! Started my new job Monday box sorting (Postal Delivery Officer!!) at the Post Office. Pretty full-on job! Apart from getting up at sparrow fart again, I enjoyed it. And for the first time in donkeys years, I have Easter off!!! Back to it Tuesday morning, and they tell me it will be huge being after a long weekend and end of month! But I love busy, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway. Pretty quiet Easter here....Krystal working heaps before she goes off to Paynesville to see the boyfriend. Rob and I not doin much.......sitting around is driving him nuts!! He is fangin to get back to work or jump on the bikes or on the lawn mower....(all the things he not allowed to do for a couple more months!!) but very thankful the operation is done and his pain is gone. Hope you all have a fantastic Easter break!! Cya Pauly xx
