A layout 'just because'......

Been a while since I've produced a layout (apart from classes and retreat!!) Wanted to use my new Tim Holtz cogs! Got Septembers ATC's finished and now thinking about next months!! HUGE CONGRATS to our daughter Krystal for her great work in Indonesian....this snippet was in the school newsletter. Haven't been doing much lately apart from working....except on Saturday I met my Mum and two sisters in Albury for the Paperfair and Scrapbooking Show. Spent a few bucks, got to see most of my family, so that was good. Oops, time to cook tea!! Hope my next post is not as far apart as this one was!!

Couple of ATC's

No scrappin to share this week, had way, way too much on last week and couldn't do any....got these two sets of ATC's done last night. Revolution for Scrap N Arts September swap and the other one is for the 12 days of Xmas over at Born 2 Create....12 people signed up and you had to do twelve of the day you were assigned, then you get the 12 days of Xmas set back, pretty cool hey!

Shaz and Emma got out of hospital again today...(they got out last Friday, but had to go back in for a couple of nights as Emma had jaundice and they put her in the cooker). Best be off to cook tea so I'm all ready to watch X-Factor. GO TJ!!! (Any one that doesn't know, TJ is a young local boy that has made it into the top 24 of Australia. Tonight we find out if he has made the top 12). WOOHOO....GO TEEJ!!!!!!

5 hours old!!

LOL!!! I'm back, our little grandaughter is two hours older here....couldn't resist showing her off after I had a little play in Picnik...I love that photo editing site!! She's so gorgeous, can't wait to have a cuddle!! Off to sleep now. Nite xx

.......Not yet!!! They were inducing Shaz at 8PM tonight.....but the hospital rang before and due to the floods, they are very short staffed, so they are now going to induce her at 8am tomorrow morning. So should be baby news tomorrow!!! Hows that rain...OMG!!!! Heres a few shots from around here.....

Wow, what a weekend. Went down to Scraphappys first retreat. Had a great time, met some great ladies and scrapped!!! Very tired today but!! Been a long time since I've gone to bed at 3am, never mind two nights in a row!!! Getting way too old for that!! These are the layouts from my class on Sunday morning. I shall upload all my scrapiness later on (after I catch up on accounts and have a nanny nap!!) Speaking of Nanny.....little grandchild number three is not far off at all.....thought it was gonna happen over the weekend, but still waiting....poor Shaz is over it and wants it out!!

Scraphappys retreat comin up real soon!! Click on the name for more info. So here's a couple of sneak peeks of the layouts we doing on Sunday in my class. Apart from working on those, I have only done two ATC's for this month. Have got one more set to do...(maybe this weekend?) We have the last Saturday away this week for Netball (as the girls didn't make the finals this year) and then Saturdays might be free again for a while.....then Krystal might start tennis again? Yay, going to Kaths tonight for a class, might finally get a page scrapped and get some mojo happening!! Pauly xxx

Embellish It - Week 7 - Layout # 79

This weeks criteria was

create your own patterned background
make and use at least 3 inchies on your project
use a quote as part of your title
not use alpha stickers on your project
create a handmade embellishment from fabric

The hardest part for me this week was the handmade embelli from fabric.....couldn't find any fabric.......so I went to Krystals op shop bag and cut the pocket off a pair of denim shorts...LOL...I''m sure someone will think thats pretty trendy and still buy them from the Op Shop!!! So the pocket is now a cute little owl and a couple of lollipop flowers!! Had fun with this challenge...took me all day but I got there!! TFL.....Pauly xxx

Class Layouts (#76, #77 and #78)

These were the three layouts I did for my class at Scraphappy Kats on Friday night. Went over to Seymour in Jacquis new car.....mmm very nice!! Had a very late night....we didn't get home until 2.30am!! So yesterday wasn't very productive at all......sat and watched netball at Bonnie Doon most the day, came home and slept for three hours, had some tea and caught up on accounts. I started my entry for 'Embellish It' comp but was too tired to finish, so that is todays project..... and maybe start on my class for the Scraphappy Retreat...not long now.......
