9 Frames down, 6 to go!!

Just quickly pop these two frames up I did last night. None tonight I'm afraid as its that great time of the month again. Yay!! Up to my ears in statements and BAS. Ah well, the joys of it all.. Only 12 more sleeps until our holiday and then back to work in our brand new shop!! Woohoo!! Been watching the temps up in Brisbane, beautiful weather by the looks of it.

Brought myself amother project.....got 15 frames to fill. The intention was to scrap all the family members. But we aint gonna fit!! So this one I will fill with all the kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews (hoping to get some together shots so they all fit) Then maybe do another one with the adults. Got six done on the weekend....9 to go!!

Me!! A vintage challenge from Lisa at Challenge Chics. Love vintage but I always struggle with it! I was sooo cute when I was little (dunno what happened!! LOL)

A few entries I got done, shock horror! The card was one I revamped to suit the sketch from a heap of Xmas cards I made from Kathies Xmas card kit last month. The 2nd one is for Kathies sketch challenge for September. I was determined I was gonna have a go at Lisas vintage challenge this month as I love looking at vintage but it just don't like me!! I've hardly scrapped anything much this month, dunno where the month went! Good news on my broken husband...hes officially on the waiting list for a hip replacement!! YAY!! Could be up to 12 months but at least he is on the list. Hopefully the drugs they prescribed keep the pain bearable until its time (fingers crossed!) Not many sleeps now...19 actually, until Krystal heads off to Malaysia on her school trip and Rob and I get a week off in Brisbane...YAY!! Well I am supposed to be out here doing wages and accounts, best get off here and do it!!! Thanks for stopping by ....Paulyxxx

This one is for a photoswap for Cass. We are doing a swap at the Challenge Chics. Hope she likes it! Pressure is on when you scrap for someone else, especially when they tell you they are going to frame it and hang it!!!!

Just a few more ATCs I have done......whos addicted?? No, not me!!! Just got one more set to do for the month for Uproar, just waiting on the theme. Should try do some LO's this weekend....although I brought myself another project that requires a bit of work....I got a photo screen with three panels of five. So I have 15 - 8"x 10" layouts to scrap. Cass got one for Xmas last year and scrapped it and it looks fantastic!!! I also got her another one. A few Saturday nights dedicated to that I reckon!! What a huge day we had on Saturday! Drove to Melbourne Saturday night and stayed in a rather dodgy expensive and uncomfortable motel. Up early for brekkie and to the Barista Course by 8.30am. Finished the first half of the course at 11.30am. Met up with Skye MJ for coffee and then to lunch at the Pancake Parlour for some scrummy pancakes for lunch. Was great to finally meet Skye and lunch was good. Then we walked the streets of Melbourne shopping (Cass won!) Then back to the course at 4 for the coffee art for two hours, where we constantly made coffees and decorated them (and drunk some!) Then the big trek home. It was great but we were all exhausted!! No scrapping done this weekend.....ah well, theres always next weekend! Thanks for stopping by Pauly xxx

Just a quick post before I go to Melbourne. Cass, Emma and I are doing a Barista Course in Melbourne tomorrow......Woohoo!!! We are heading down tonight and staying in a Motel so we don't have to get up with the sparrows in the morning and travel down. I get up early every weekday morning and I didn't fancy it again on Saturday!! AND we are catching up with Skye for coffee tomorrow....wahooo!! ATC, collage & blind challenge.

This is Tack on his 18th birthday with a drinking helmet someone gave him. It held two cans on top and you drink from the straws! The layout is one of Debs online collage classes. This is my third collage class and I love them. You wouldn't believe the hours that go into these collages!! Thanks Deb, whens the next one?? LOL.

This one is my grandson Lucas last weekend in the car on the way home from Batlow. What a dude!! Little man is one tomorrow!! This is his last monthly page for his album I made for his birthday. I done the same for Cody. They have a layout for each month from birth to one and now I will do a page every birthday until whenever. Then when they are 21 its all done!! Instead of trying to do a complete album at 21 like I did with my children. Tack is still waiting and he is nearly 22!! The layout was done for Uproars new challenge blog U2S. (Vickis Blind challenge.)

This ATC is for a little local swap. It was my turn to pick a theme and I chose 'white on white' The same as the challenge I set for the challenge chics cybercrop a few weeks back ...and the entries were stunning!! Pretty amazing how many shades of white there is!! Well thats it for me this weekend, I have to get off here and do accounts and statements....a day early but its way to hard to do them on a week night. End of month should only ever fall on a weekend so I can cope!!! LOL. Thanks for stopping by Pauly xxx

Layouts and a OTP

Another night at Scraphappy Cats (Kathies) last night and we had a class with Trudi Harrison. Absolutely loved Trudis class...LOTS of handcutting and layering...and a cute little OTP gift bag and card. We didn't finish until after one oclock and I was way too tired to drive home...thank you so much Kathie and Peter for your hospitality and girls for your beds. Fantastic brekkie thanks Peter and good coffee thanks Kathie!!!

The other LO I did for Uproar2Scrapmore as guest designer for August using Sassafrass papers from the kit Dee sent me and a few 'bits and pieces' from my stash. I also redid my Farmyard animal ATC as I wasn't happy with my first one (I loved the pic on it but I didn't feel like i 'did anything' on it) so heres my 2nd attempt. Challenge Chics Cyber Crop

This one wasn't part of the cybercrop..it was an online class of Debs. Thanks Deb, I love it!!

This one of Phillip was for the challenge I set - 'white on white'. Been trying for years to scrap one of Phillip, it finally fell into place with white being so 'heavenly'.

This one was for Karinas sketch challenge. I used some of my Rose Moka papers I've had for a while. Turned out quite 'colourful'!

This one was for Vickis mini album challenge. Re-did the front cover to fit in with her requirements and finished off with more pages.

This one was for Amandas quote challenge -"Dream dreams that no-one dared dream before." My Tack looks so young and innocent here!! LOL, he's not!! Used some leftover bits from Debs online class layout.

Well, that was a mega-productive weekend for me!! Joined in on the Challenge Chics Cybercrop (link on my sidebar) and I have all the challenges done but one. We have until Wednesday to upload entries so I may get the last challenge done?? Games were fun too! I missed out on Bingo Saturday night as we went out to tea with Cass and Paul and had to wait over an hour and a half to get our meals Grrr! and they weren't that flash when we finally did get them!! I got eight layouts done, two cards and finished off a mini album for a workmate that has been sitting unfinished for months. AND got all the housework done AND all the bookwork! Hit invoice number 2000 today! Not bad for a one-man band! Gee my hubby works hard!! Shall upload my Sweeties entries maybe tomorrow night (if I not too exhausted from work) Ahh, back to work fulltime tomorrow! Ruined my track record of one sick day in ten and half years now!!
