Have been playing around with my camera again....pretty happy with my moon photos considering I havent got a super-dooper lens ( I do want one, but better wait a bit I think). Have done a few bits and pieces this week, but can't show ya yet......Have done two lo's for my class at Kathies next week, a little gift for somebody and a set of ATC's for our Family n Friends '40th Birthday' swap. Haven't got a photo yet, get one tomorrow.

Rob is coming along nicely with his hip, our biggest problem is boredom!!! Its only been 3 days home and he's over it!!!! His big adventure for the day is a walk out to the mailbox and around the yard and to take a shower is a big job!! I think he is gonna go on phone duties next week if his throat is better just to keep a bit of sanity, he has physio on Monday and Doctors Tuesday to get the staples out.....(he not looking forward to that!!) I haven't got bored yet...at least I can jump up and sweep or dust or cook or clean or scrap or do accounts or... etc etc etc. Its been about 11 years since I have had to cook three meals a day, way out of touch!!! My Mans Home!!

Waiting patiently (from 10am) on Thursday 25th Feb

Wheeled in at 2pm (started op at 2.45, finished at 4.30)

Back in critical care ward at 5pm


Home today at 2.30, 5 days after the op!

Yay, brought my man home today after his hip replacement last Thursday. They say he is doing great! The morning after his op, they had him out of bed..took a couple of steps. Poor buggar thought he was getting totally knocked out for the op....but he heard it all. The cutter, the hammer, the surgeon saying "This is Fu******!" (we not sure if he meant the cutting tool or Robs hip?) Gonna ask him at next appointment! The trip home took it out of him, slept for a few hours when we got home.... Got a photo of his cut n staples, but didn't post it incase it freaked some of yas out!! 28 staples I think he counted. The top of his leg is probably three times its normal size. He gets the staples out next Tuesday and that really scares him! He has a really inflamed throat and tonsils are pussy, hopefully we can clear that up soon and he'll be a lot happier. Went to the retreat at the Gold Coast from last Thursday to Sunday. Had a great time...met some lovely and very talented ladies!! Couldn't pull any all-nighters like some of them did, haven,t been able to do that for a lot of years!! Had plenty of laughs!! (Some of them were on me!! Apparently I'm a bit of a bed hog, sprawled out over most of the bed and poor Cass was sleeping on the side of the bed like a scared little rabbit!!) Got plenty of scrappin done considering my mojo has gone missing in action!! Did 7 layouts, one double and a lovely little satin lined box. Have still got a couple of pages to do that we didn't get time for, hope to do those soon. So that has boosted my yearly total up nicely! Have also done one LO for my class at Kathies, just gotta do another one. One set of ATC's for Feb and I'm caught up!

Guess what happened today?? Got a call from the Wang hospital...there was a cancellation for this Thursday, so they have brought Rob forward a week...he is in this Thursday....two sleeps to go!!!!!!! YAY!!! Then I think I'd better move into the spare room for a while until he recovers...otherwise I might cause him a bit of damage....LOL, I dont have any problems sleeping....just the poor buggar that has to sleep with me!! Done this ATC for a swap at SCNC themed 'Romance'. The absolute only scrapping I have done since last post!! OMG, still searching for mojo..........

Got the bestest news yesterday!!!! WE GOT A DATE FOR ROB FOR HIS HIP REPLACEMENT!!!!!! March 4th. 16 more sleeps....bring it on!!!!! After lots of dissappointing phone calls, it just happened! Gonna be a long haul and poor buggar is packing his dacks but looking forward to being pain-free at long last. Prayin it all goes well. Two more sleeps before Cass and I go to the retreat on the Gold Coast. Speaking of which, I probably should go get some!! Cya for now...Pauly xx

Done these 3 ATC's for a challenge my sister (Vicmbee) put up at Debs Creations. I only set out to do 1 with a stamped image I got from Vic, but she was a tad too tall, even though it fits in the ATC pockets fine.....then the following day I got a suprise parcel in the mail and it was a couple of Magnolia stamps Vic had brought me for my birthday (Thanks Vic!!! ) from Bizzy Becs. So I had to have a play and colour and made the other two ATC's!! The layout of Rob and Cody is for Scraphappy Kats February Sketch challenge. A LO I did Friday night of Kaths at Scraphappy Kats. Took the pic from the front of work looking up the main street at 6am Thursday morning just gone. OMG the sky looked wicked!!!

Took off to Seymour Friday night for the first lesson back at Scraphappy Kats for 2010. Kath asked me would I be on her Design Team this year....got my first kit while I was over there and teach my first class next month...I am really nervous!! (Sorry Kath, can't help it!!) I dont think my mojo is back yet but I forced myself to do a LO today for ScrapNArts sketch challenge......played with my new inks and glimmermist (which never shows up in photos) and whacked on a bit of paint with a dry brush. Wasn't happy with the bright green, so tried to tone it down with some inks, is a tad better but too bad, its stuck there!! Got some great photos to scrap....I need mojo back with a vengance! Boys have gone over to Wilby today to the drag racing which didn't tickle my fancy...but I need to ride. So I'm off now to have some lunch and then jump on my Harley. Dunno where I'm going but I'm sure if I follow my nose I'll end up somewhere!! Cya later......Pauly xx
