Cody riding without training wheels on Saturday...he came up to the workshop Saturday morning needing poppy to put some air in his tyres, then we had to coax him to show us how he can ride like a big boy...once he got going (thinking Shaz was holding his seat) there was no stopping him!! Grinning from ear to ear. Threw a big tanty when he had to put the bike away when Shaz had to go to work!! Anyways I done this page for Scraphappys FNC. We were to use paint colours being black, white and grey with a touch of one other colour. So I slapped some black paint on and then dipped a matchbox in white paint to do the brickwork.....had a bit of fun playing with paint.

Woohoo, two layouts in one weekend!!! Did this one for baby girls album, its her birthday soon and I was gonna try and have a album with a page a month since birth.......hmmmm its only got four in it!!! Okay maybe it might be a bit late..........

Lovin my new job and can't wait to give these early early mornings away!! Off tomorrow to Melbourne for the night to see the sequel to 'Phantom of the opera' compliments of one of our tyre suppliers...including preshow cocktails and canapes, night at the Novetel on Collins and full cooked buffet brekkie....BRING IT ON!!! Hi there everyone, I didn't realise it has been this long between posts! Stacks has been happening....son and girlfriend split after 3.5 years, got a new office at the workshop (home is now HOME!! and lovin it) 16 yo daughter moved out, I finished one job and started another, been to the retreat (had a ball, met some more lovely peoples and caught up with some others I have met before). Rearranged our home as we all of a sudden have all this room we never had before and I now have a scrappin room!! I havent had time to actually scrap in it, but hopefully soon as its almost set up, just gotta go find Mr Mojo!! Got five pages done at the retreat, pretty amazing for me lately!! Still have kept up with my ATC's tho, they seem so much easier than tryin to do a page.... Lovin my new job at the Post Office..training was complete" brain strain" to start with but its slowly getting easier..... . Quick update to let you know I'm still kickin, as its way past my bedtime! Um just a because page......

This one started out as Scraphappys Friday night sketch but ended up nothing like it!!! But I love it anyway....its one for baby Emmas 'first year' album.


This one is an accidental scraplift!! I follow a blog called kerry- scrapkerry and absolutely love her work!! every time she updates I'm straight over there to check out her work. This layout was done from inspiration from Kerry (5 days after I'd seen hers I did this page.) Then I went back to check her blog and thought Geez! looks like I stole it! If you havent seen Kerrys work, go and have a browse here. You'll know exactly which layout stuck in my head!!

Thats me for the last few weeks....one page wonder each weekend!!! With end of month, BAS and end of financial year upon us tomorrow, I cant see much time for any for a while! Thanks for popping by Pauly xx

Well hello everyone!! Been a while hey!! Had a fantastic holiday riding our Harleys around Tasmania for 9 days. Were absolutely blessed with the weather, only had the tiniest bit of rain on the whole trip. We brought storm gear before we left and didn't even need to use it!! They have some beautiful scenery down there and some great riding. We have hundreds of photos, which I'll get around to sharing my favourite ones soon. It hasn't been much fun since we got back unfortunately, took two full on days in the office catching up and then a household full of sickies most of last week. Woohooo!!!!!!! Only 6 more sleeps until Rob and I jump on our Harleys and set off on our holiday to Tassie
along with 50 other people (and 29 Harleys)......it was time to open the savings jar. We started our savings 9 months ago in a 10 litre water bottle, Rob and Krystal are busy counting it now. Any guesses????????? I can't wait to find out whats in the bottle................... on the scrapping front, here is my entry for Scraphappy Kats Friday night challenge.....another sketch from Lexie. I used up some more papers from the kit from last night, so I'm up to four layouts so far. First three with no embellies, but I used a little bling for flower centres on this one......and a card a I made for my Post Office boss who had her first baby earlier this week....congrats!!!

These are three pages I shared tonight at Scraphappy Kats using Kaisers 'Jungle Bug' and 'Hey Birdie' ranges. Scraphappys Friday night challenge with leftovers from Lexies pack.... Tacks girlfriend Brooke with the new puppy the boys got for Xmas. His name is Buddy....tooo cute!!

Wings ATC for Scraphappys swap I run......still got time if you want to jump in....just make nine and send them to me and you'll get nine back!! Easy....details on Kathies blog.....For this one I stamped the wings, coloured with copics, sprayed with glimmer mist and arranged them on a swirl embossed background and inked. And made a body with pearls. Goes along with my butterfly obsession!!

Black buddah baby ornaments from Rob, butterfly candle holder and candles from Cass. Happy mail with little gift from Karen today..THANX. A BBQ tea - Tack cooked, Krystal done salads and Rob cleaned up (wish it was my birthday every day!!!!!) And the two gifts I got myself above!!! Thanks for all the birthday wishes too. In our nine years in this house, I have never seen this much water!! I only just made it home at 5.15...packed my dacks driving through the water as I could feel the current pushing me across. Tack tried to get through at 5.30 and couldn't, he turned back and then the police blocked the road off. The bridge on our edge of town went under water. Krystal was at work and her boss rang me and said he was shutting the shop early so his staff could get home. Krystal is staying with him tonight. Rob got home the long back way in his 4 wheel drive, but we get much more rain and that way might be a no go too! Hope it goes down overnight or this little duck wont get to work in the morning!! Made my three grandkids a Xmas keepsake, just got it done in time as the Xmas countdown begins today!! I have used the photos from their first Xmas's, so the blank white spot is waiting for one of Emmas first Xmas. I just added their names and year since I took the photo this morning. Tried to find wrapped Xmas lollies this morning at the supermarket, but all I could find was the gold coin chocolates so Shaz is finding some treats for the rest of the drawers in Wangaratta today. Hope they enjoy this for years to come!! TFL.

Wow, I finally got some scrappin done this weekend!! Done my two layouts for my next class at Kathies and another one of Emma just because. Got the two ATC's done through the week also. Friday night some germ overtook my body and had me in bed before 8.30pm, felt like throwing up and I haven't done that since I was a little tacka! Slept 12 hours and woke up feeling a bit better. Got my accounts done, went to work for a few hours and came home to help Rob clean up the BBQ and made a new area to set it up. We have set up in the spare carport, which is good as its protected from the wind, has lights and power for music, theres a phone in the shed. So the plan is to use the BBQ this year (as it didn't get used the whole of last summer!!)

Then of course we had to test it out for tea!! This morning I got up, scrapped two pages, made lunch and Rob and I went to see Tomorrow the war begins at the local cinema...good movie apart from the ending! Then went and had coffee and now he's watching a movie and I'm playing on my computer! Thats our weekend wrapped up. Might just head back to the scrap table and get my final ATCs for October done with the theme 'Weddings'. Thanks for stopping by.....Pauly xxxx

Used Postage Stamp ATC for Born 2 Create October swap

My first visit to Puffing Billy on Sunday.....

My first ever time The Police have pulled us up on our bikes....(actually, we had already pulled in and parked when they came over to do a licence and rego check) All was good but.

The layouts up top are from Lexies class at Scraphappys last Friday night. The ATC is for a swap at Born 2 Create for October. Sunday the weather was MAGIC so we decided to take a ride down to Belgrave cos I'd never seen Puffing Billy before and it seemed like we hadn't ridden since 'forever ago'. It was a awesome ride down and guess what....I still havent seen Puffing Billy! We just missed the 12.30 ride and the next one wasn't until 2.30 and it would have been 4.30 before we could head home again, which we decided would've been too late. So if we did it again we'd get there a bit earlier....oh well! Had a awesome ride through the Black Spur on the way home (I'd only ever done that once before when the weather was wet and miserable) and got to about 30km out of Alexandra and my butt started to HURT and my back too. Wasn't much fun anymore! So Rob and I swapped bikes and I rode his big armchair for a while which was wicked!! Rob was pretty happy to get his bike back at Bonnie Doon!!! Anyways, enough rambling for now as my eyelids are getting really heavy!! Night all...Pauly xxx

A layout 'just because'......

Been a while since I've produced a layout (apart from classes and retreat!!) Wanted to use my new Tim Holtz cogs! Got Septembers ATC's finished and now thinking about next months!! HUGE CONGRATS to our daughter Krystal for her great work in Indonesian....this snippet was in the school newsletter. Haven't been doing much lately apart from working....except on Saturday I met my Mum and two sisters in Albury for the Paperfair and Scrapbooking Show. Spent a few bucks, got to see most of my family, so that was good. Oops, time to cook tea!! Hope my next post is not as far apart as this one was!!

No scrappin to share this week, had way, way too much on last week and couldn't do any....got these two sets of ATC's done last night. Revolution for Scrap N Arts September swap and the other one is for the 12 days of Xmas over at Born 2 Create....12 people signed up and you had to do twelve of the day you were assigned, then you get the 12 days of Xmas set back, pretty cool hey!

Shaz and Emma got out of hospital again today...(they got out last Friday, but had to go back in for a couple of nights as Emma had jaundice and they put her in the cooker). Wow, what a weekend. Went down to Scraphappys first retreat. Had a great time, met some great ladies and scrapped!!! Very tired today but!! Been a long time since I've gone to bed at 3am, never mind two nights in a row!!! Getting way too old for that!! These are the layouts from my class on Sunday morning. I shall upload all my scrapiness later on (after I catch up on accounts and have a nanny nap!!) Speaking of Nanny.....little grandchild number three is not far off at all.....thought it was gonna happen over the weekend, but still waiting....poor Shaz is over it and wants it out!!

Embellish It - Week 7 - Layout # 79

This weeks criteria was

create your own patterned background
make and use at least 3 inchies on your project
use a quote as part of your title
not use alpha stickers on your project
create a handmade embellishment from fabric

The hardest part for me this week was the handmade embelli from fabric.....couldn't find any fabric.......so I went to Krystals op shop bag and cut the pocket off a pair of denim shorts...LOL...I''m sure someone will think thats pretty trendy and still buy them from the Op Shop!!! So the pocket is now a cute little owl and a couple of lollipop flowers!! Had fun with this challenge...took me all day but I got there!! TFL.....Pauly xxx

These were the three layouts I did for my class at Scraphappy Kats on Friday night. Went over to Seymour in Jacquis new car.....mmm very nice!! Had a very late night....we didn't get home until 2.30am!! So yesterday wasn't very productive at all......sat and watched netball at Bonnie Doon most the day, came home and slept for three hours, had some tea and caught up on accounts. I started my entry for 'Embellish It' comp but was too tired to finish, so that is todays project..... and maybe start on my class for the Scraphappy Retreat...not long now....... Wow, made it through another week of the embellish It competition (link on my sidebar) This weeks challenge kinda freaked me out a bit when I first read it.....
Make a card compendium with at least three cards, two different pp's, and alter a shop brought embelli.
First things first....didn't even know what a compendium was!!!!! Thank heavens for google!!!
I couldn't find any templates, so I had to wing it...really wasn't that hard once I started (which I kept putting off until Sunday). I used Primas Watercolour Rainbow Collection - whimsy and blushing fushia. For my altered embelli, I used a felt flower and 5 paper flowers and stamped, inked, chopped and made it into one flower and used a prima bling for the centre. Wallah!! Then used the scraps of leftover pp to make some cards. It would comfortably hold ten cards I reckon....anyways TFL. Thanks for stopping by....Pauly XX

'Spotty/Dotty' ATC for Scraphappy Swap

'Grunge' ATC for Family & Friends swap

This week's challenge is set by Melinda Spinks (winner of the 'Embellish It' competition in 2009)Melinda's challenge is to create a layout using the following criteria:
Layout to be any shape but square!
Monochromatic Colour Scheme (With a hint of one other colour only!)
Paper Rolling or Quilling must be used on your layout!
Stamping to be used on your layout and be a prominant feature (not just a little stamp in the corner).
An embellishment to be made using acetate/transparency (you can also include any of the above criteria on your embellishment).

Made it through another week of Embellish It...struggled with this weeks entry as I felt pretty ordinary over the weekend, so this was all I could come up with. Will find out Friday if I get through another week. If I don't, I'll do the challenges anyway. I love the push it gives me to do stuff I wouldn't normally (PS....paper rolling is not on my list of favourite techniques!!!) Had another photoshoot today. Cass and I took the boys over to the wetlands for a walk. Cass took 150 photos and I took 129, havent seen Cassies yet, but just put a 'few' of my faves up. LOL.

Plenty there for you to pinch Mum, if the quality no good just give me a hoy and I'll email them through to you. Wish I could find my mojo......dunno where its gone??? Applied for another job today (in the kitchen at the hospital), but don't know if the hours will suit as I don't want to give my post office job up. See how I go......

Embellish It - Week 4 (Vintage It)

YAY, YAY, YAY!!! All my tax stuff is done, sitting here on the table ready to drop off to the accountant in the morning!!! Will be so glad to see the back of it tomorrow!!! Only took me all of last week (not weekend) and all today apart from two hours!!

The only time I got anywhere near my scrap table since last weekend was Saturday night to do the week 4 challenge for Tans 'Embellish It' competition. This week was Vintage week and the criteria set by Lisa Ikumphuis (the vintage queen we call her). I freaked when I seen the criteria at first, but thats why I love challenges, cos they push you out of your comfort zone! Criteria was - vintage style using lace and ribbon - creative use of rubons and paint - something for practical use - include a distressing technique. So I made a little treasure/memory box for my first little grandaughter thats on the way (due September) Quite chuffed with how it turned out and now I have a special little something for her to keep her special little somethings in (hopefully).

I took an hour out today at lunchtime and met Shaz, Krystal and the grandsons at the park. It was freezing cold but they had a ball and so did I, took ninety photos!! The other hour off, Rob and I met up with Dot and Alan for coffee and chinwag. Then came home and cooked roast pork for tea, then went for a walk (which we are going to do every night from now on) lol, thats the plan anyway!! Tonight we just walked off the crackle!!

Anyway enough rambling from me....lol, feel so relieved all that end of year crap is done!! Outa here to print some photos...

Embellish It - Week 3 (Layout 75)

For Tans Embellishment comp. this week, the criteria was.......

This week's challenge is for you to also create something ( a layout or an OTP) using the following five points:

1. hand stitching

2. felt

3. beads

4. bling / rhinestones

5. doodling

Let me clarify the criteria; those five 'things' mentioned above (hand stitching, felt, beads, bling / rhinestones and doodling) have to appear on the layout/ project somewhere, BUT you have to create a handmade embellishment too (using one or more of those five points as mentioned above).

So I got that one done, (Aunty Jenny....I finally used my beaded butterfly on the bottom RH corner you taught me to make a few years ago!! Lol, knew I would one day)

Also a card for my nephew Dillon (Still blown away that he turned 18 yesterday!!)which is also done for June challenge # 4 for MAD. Had to use lots of ink, so I inked ther background, stamped Happy Birthday all over it, stamped a border with ink splats and went over the lot with champagne ink to give it a shimmer, then stuck on the 18 with foam numbers. I have done three layouts this week for my next class, so I can't show yas yet!! Nearly halfway through the layout count for this year....can't believe I've done that many, it sure doesn't seem like it....I don't think I'll get much done in July as I'll be having too much fun doing end of month, BAS and Tax.....NOT!!

This layout I done for MAD challenge 1 of 4 for June. Criteria was to use the quote given and minimum of two circles. I used one of Lisa K's kits, they are fantastic kits, value for money!!All I have added to this one is the two butterflies and the date journal block. If you haven't done so before, do yourself a favour and go here to check her blog, she puts new kits up at the start of every month and they are only $10 each . The one and only thing I created for the long weekend (and that was last night!!) was for my take on this months Out Of the Hat challenge. Criteria this month was multi photos (more than three), mixed alphas for title and staples and doodling. Go check out the new forum started this month.

Photo for you mum of our 'million dollar' driveway you heard about on the weekend.....well $2528.84 to be precise. Way better than it was, but considering I was expecting about $800 worth, for that money I want a freeway!!! Pretty sure Dad would have done way better!!

Andrew had Saturday off so I went up to the workshop to try and keep Rob under control....we left there about 3.30...then dunno what happened to the rest of the day?? Sunday we drove to Albury to see Al in hospital....he's in pretty good spirits considering they just took off three of his toes!! Yesterday we had a sleep in, went for lunch, helped out with some new tyres for some people that wouldn't have made it back to Melbourne. Came home, washed my Harley and then just had to get on and give it a burl....Rob came with me...YES his first ride since his hip replacement!! I couldn't get the grin off his face all night!!! Lol, it was only a short ride, but I bet there will be no stopping him now!!! Thanks for stopping by....cheerio...Pauly xx

Hardly got anything to show......I have only done my DT work for Scraphappy Kats (and can only show a little sneak peek yet) for this Friday night coming, and one little ATC I made last night for a challenge at Born2Create with a pirate theme. Went to Melbourne at the end of last week and seen the Jersey Boys, it was AWESOME! Lol, I'm glad it was really loud but, as no-one could hear me sniffing the whole way through it!! I have had the flu all week, but I wasn't gonna miss out!!! I am hoping I'm on the tail end of it now, as I'm totally over it! Just got the annoying tickle in the throat, otherwise feel okay (just). My first play with my Copic Markers...... I put dimensional magic on the three bigger butterflies...they look sooo good in real life!!

Gotta love Happy Mail!! Today I got my Copics with the voucher I won, couldn't wait to get inside and have a play!! First thing I tried was butterflies of course!! I got my ATC's from Scrap N Art, love them (look so much better IRL too), I got a ScrapMag, more ATC's from Bec N Dan to swap out when I get the others in, a photo CD from the retreat back in Feb (thanks girls!!) a couple of cheques for the business and NOT ONE BILL!! Thats the sort of mail I would love every day!! MAD Cybercrop challenge using a colour combo from the song 'I can see a rainbow' I chose red and yellow (obviously!!)

MAD cybercrop challenge by Sarah to complete a page that included a rainbow. Could have been in the title or papers or even in the journalling, but I have had this photo printed out for years of this wicked double rainbow, taken in Harrietville on a memorial run in 2008. It amazed me how it changed the colour of the sky under it, it just glowed! I just needed a little push to scrap it, thats why I love doing challenges, cos it pushes you to try things that you wouldn't normally do.

These were my layouts for my class at Scraphappys on Friday night. Had a great night (apart from the FOGGY long drive home!!) I rescrapped my layouts in different papers (using Lisa k's

wonderful kits), amazes me the whole different look you get! Also had to show the difference when I took the photos in the sun and then in the shade to how the colours are so different....I always take multiples when I take them and pick the better ones. They were taken about 50cm apart on the front verandah.... Not much happening today....Krystal took a fall at Netball yesty and hurt her ankle, they suspect it may be a partially torn archilles? If its still swollen and sore tomorrow, we will get it checked out. Still holding my breathe until tomorrow when I find out if I got the job I went for....hoping, hoping....Let ya know tommorrow. Just because.......I finally got pics of the grandies together on Sunday while we were out bush getting wood. Forgot my camera!! So I took these with my IPhone...pretty impressed how they printed out!

I went for a job interview yesterday....fingers crossed xxxxx 15 hours a week in an office. Would so love to score this job!! With my 13 hours a week at the Post Office, these 15 hours would be ideal and I would still fit in doing our accounts! WISH ME LUCK PLEASE!! Get me off the cafe scene....(although I do miss my big coffee machine!!) and my customers.

Easter ATC for Scraphappys swap for April.

Bit slack on the blogging of late! Wanna wish a big Happy Birthday to Vicki (23rd), Karen (24th) and Anthony (26th). Hope ya's had a great day and got very spoilt!! We were going to visit Batlow on this long weekend but forgot Rob had physio yesterday, so those plans went out the window...could have left after physio but then there was netball and it would have been too rushed just like a normal weekend! We'll get there.....One bit of exciting news......Cass and Paul are finally tying the knot in November and Cass asked me to be her Matron of Honour.....very honoured thankyou Cass. We went off dress shopping Tuesday, picked out a gorgeous dress. Have plenty of time to keep looking...I am wrapped we share a favourite colour!! Been a long time since I've got to dress up, lol, looking forward to it!!

Well I'm off to scrap!! I've decided I am having a scrapbox day.....using all I can from my scraps as its a massive box full!! (Hopefully mojo will co-operate!!) Enjoy your day off (if you have one...) Pauly xx

Krystal...just because......

Lexies class from Friday night......Thanx Lex.....love it!

Yay, Thursday, I finally did a layout 'just because'!! Mojo called in for a little visit! Friday I took Robs Harley out for a spin just to give it a bit of a run. Jacqui and I rode over to Benalla, had some lunch and then I came back to take mine out and she wouldn't start...mmm flat battery! Have to get it on charge and take her out too, they been sitting too long!! Then Friday night, off to Seymour for Lexies class, like it heaps thanks Lexie!! Saturday morn up early and off to Greta for Netball. What a long day...Krystal was on roster to score A grades game, so we were there till stumps! Got home at bout 6.30 and I am aching from head to toe (dont think I'd better leave it that long and then hop on a 'big boys' bike I've decided) I was asleep by 7.30 last night and up at 7 this morning (Sunday!!!!!) I am still aching all over and so excited about that as we are going to get wood at 10!! GRRR. Anyway, enough whining.....I outa here....Pauly xx

April Uproar Sketch challenge

Hello all! not much on the scrapping side of things....please come home mojo!!! One for Ems Sketch challenge at Uproar and an ATC for a family and friends swap for April with the theme 'Frogs'. Just had a little photoshoot with Krystal after school, she is doing a hairdressing course every Wednesday at school and come home with her hair curled. I think it looks gorgeous! Just went a little nuts with the camera!! A few cute ones of the little kitten too, aww how cute!! I'm afraid little puss lost its brother today, found it in the driveway behind where I back my ute out....I don't know if I did it or someone hit it in the driveway while I was out? Poor little puss....

These are my layouts I did for my class down at Seymour for Scraphappy last night....I thought I would try something different with the 2nd Layout and tried paper weaving....when I finished it, I said to Rob...OMG, I hate it!! Just one of those layouts you do and really don't like it, well that freaked me out...if its for you, yeah too bad, but I was doing this for a class! I whipped up an alternative layout for anyone to do that didn't like it either ( I told them I would take no offence at all cos I didn't like it). Well, they all did the paper weaving, no one did the alternative!! How funny, I hated it, they all liked it! Its kinda growing on me now, I,m just gonna add some flourishes and see if I can improve it. Maybe its just the green that turned me off? I dunno. Anyway I best be outa here, off to Frankston to pick up my girl....so did miss her this week!

This one is for Scraphappys April Sketch Challenge.

This one is for Tans (Scrap N Craft with T) collage challenge at Born2Create for April. Another collage for my gallery in the loungeroom. One more to go in that section and then a few more in the Dining room gallery, just can't rush these things!!

4 Day weekend and this is all I produced!!! Friday we did very little, then went out to Cass and Pauls for coffee. Saturday we did the Bush Market in the morning and then statements and end of month in the arvo. Sunday we spent most the day at Bonnie Doon watching the Netball, then vegged when we got home. Monday we took Krystal down to Frankston, where Lee (boyfriend) and his Mum met us to take my girl for the week. They headed on back to Venus Bay (their holiday house) for the night and then back to Paynesville (where they live) for the rest of the week. Get my girrl back on Sunday, I do miss her :( We left there and drove into Melbourne to see Robs brother Brett in hospital..he has been transferred back to Ballarat now, which is a good thing for his family...save all the travelling to see him. So I guess he should be starting on his rehab soon. Then back to work for me on Tuesday. I am teaching a class this Friday night at Kaths, so I best get cracking and finish off my layouts!! Scrap N Art 'I spy' theme for April. So I spied things beginning with B!!

Born 2 Create 'Inky Easter' theme for April. I blew ink on the background, then inked the edges, then stamped the Happy Easter and border across the bottom. Stamped the little chick and cut it out. Used flock to colour him and make him a bit fluffy, was the first time I've used flock and it was a bit 'gappy' so I then blew some yellow ink on him to fill the gaps and then stuck him on with dots to raise him a bit.

A challenge at last weekends cyber crop at MAD. Lisas challenge was to scrap about something you love about scrapbooking using pink, brown and white, a heart and some chipboard. I chose to scrap about meeting other 'scrappers' in real life that I have 'met' through forums, blogs etc.. There a still heaps I would love to meet...and hope to one day. Have met some wonderful people through my scrapbooking.

This one was for Sarahs challenge at the cybercrop also. Sarah wanted to see a photo with yourself in it, some distressing, dooodling and negative space.

Just a quick update before I hit the sack!! Started my new job Monday box sorting (Postal Delivery Officer!!) at the Post Office. Pretty full-on job! Apart from getting up at sparrow fart again, I enjoyed it. And for the first time in donkeys years, I have Easter off!!! Back to it Tuesday morning, and they tell me it will be huge being after a long weekend and end of month! But I love busy, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway. Pretty quiet Easter here....Krystal working heaps before she goes off to Paynesville to see the boyfriend. Rob and I not doin much.......sitting around is driving him nuts!! He is fangin to get back to work or jump on the bikes or on the lawn mower....(all the things he not allowed to do for a couple more months!!) but very thankful the operation is done and his pain is gone. And another of Lexies...these last two were from a double layout but I not keen on those in the album I am using as they sit too far apart, so I made two singles with them.

A collage I did last night....started out to do Scarp N Craft with T's challenge but it went all wrong, so I turned it into a collage!

This one, I started out scraplifting a pic I had saved from ages ago (pretty sure its Debs) but then drifted off to put my own touch on it.

Mmmm, didn't think I'd scrapped much in the last week, but I guess I have now I got them all together to take pics!! Got a few more challenges I'd like to do if I get the chance, but will see how I go. Got a few things on for the rest of the week. Wangaratta appointment tomorrow and Thursday we finally off to see Robs brother who had a serious bike accident the weekend before last. He is being transferred to a Melbourne hospital today, so we can do day trips to go see him now without worrying about accommodation and carting Robs aids. Start my new job next Monday, it has been nice having some time off work, but gotta get back to work as no income is not much fun!! Outa here, Rob wants to go for a walk, sun is shining, its a beautiful day......Pauly xx

Swanpool Tennis Premiers!

HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY CASS!!!

What a full weekend!! Went to Seymour Friday night to Scraphappy Kats and done a class with Lexie.....can't show you that yet as I haven't had time to finish it! Home around 1am. Then up early Saturday morning and out to Maindample to see off all the riders on a ride we were going to go on as we always do the memorial rides for ol mates that have passed on. We'll be back into the riding as soon as Rob can cock his leg over his Harley!! Then onto Swanpool for Krystals semi-final in tennis (yay, they won!) On to Benalla to buy her some more runners for netball to find they had every size but hers!!!! Then home for little nanny nap and off to Cassies for her 40th Birthday Bash. Home at midnight. Up early this morning and off to Benalla for Tennis Grandfinals....CONGRATS TEAM ON YOUR WIN!!!! Home at 2pm, dropped Krystal down to work and back out to Cassies to pick up Robs chair, had a cuppa and some tucker. Got home at 5pm and we were exhausted!! Rob needed a little lie down...so I had one too!! 3 hours nanny and poppy naps!! Don't think it will affect tonights sleep as still feel buggared. Would like to have squeezed in a puzzle challenge for MAD, but it was due in tonight. Hopefully get some scrappin done tomorrow. Got myself another job and start at the Post Office mail sorting on Tuesday 29th. YAY!! Cya Pauly

These were the two layouts I did for my first class down at Scraphappys. Met three more lovely ladies that I hadn't met before.....It wasn't as nerve racking as I thought, they all did a great job!!

Haven't been near my scrap table today, have been doing housework, cleaning out my spare room, getting ready for my boy to move back home, weeding, washing, tidied up the mess from the tradesmen yesterday (I forgive them though as I had the best shower that I,ve had in the nine years that we,ve lived here!!!!! It was AWESOME to have water pressure!!!!!) Now updating my blog then I'll get the washing in, think about tea and then I might scrap! I've got a blind challenge to do for MAD. Well....dailys posts on my blog...anyone would think I have nothing better to do...LOL!! Better get myself a job perhaps?? Played with my new stamp I got in the mail yesterday and made a set of ATC's for my Scraphappy swap and one for a challenge at Born2Create. Finally got a pretty bird visit today...he was such a willing poser too. I took a few pics and he waited while I went inside and got my bigger lens too. Now I want to buy a bigger lens even more than I did yesterday!!!! But we gettin a new hot water service put in on Friday so we have pressure, sooooo hangin for a decent shower where I dont have to run around the cubicle trying to get wet!!!! YAY, bring it on!! Enough rambling.....I feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck, real heavy head, I'm thinking Rob has passed on his germs as he feeling better and me and Krystal feelin like crap! Night Paulyxx

He got his staples out today, he pretty happy that is over and done with, he said it was the worst of the whole precedure, second in line was getting the catheter (spelling unsure??) out. Had the physio yesterday, got a bit of a leg massage and list of exercises to do. All in all, hes doing well! Got a new stamp and set of twinkling H2O's today in the mail...itching for a play....after tea. Better go as the lamb roast is almost done.....need to make gravy...mmmmmm smells sooo good!! Yay, got two layouts done last night! The gelati girl started out as Kaths sketch and it looked shocking! so I covered up the stamping with the pink torn paper and then the rest just happened just because. The other is a sketch challenge at Mad about scrappin. A few photos to share cos I love my new camera!!! Well, now that I've uploaded last nights efforts, I think I might go and scrap!!!!
